Usually found on uncoated, uncalendered paper, eggshell is a fairly subtle but rough texture. It resembles the surface of an eggshell and may sometimes be referred to as an antique or vellum finish. An eggshell paper texture may be found on products as diverse as fine writing papers and craft or construction paper.
